Regarding a confirmed COVID-19 case among our employees

Thank you for your continued patronage of Forget-me-nots.

On Tuesday, June 21st, one employee working at our store "Forget-me-nots Daikanyama Main Store" (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo) was confirmed to be infected with the novel coronavirus.

From the perspective of preventing further spread of infection, the store disinfected the premises and routes before opening on Tuesday, June 21st.
Please note that on Tuesday, June 21st, the store operated as usual after confirming safety.

The timeline of the confirmed COVID-19 infection is as follows:

June 19: Worked at Forget-me-nots Daikanyama Main Store. *Last day at work before positive test result.
June 20: Developed a fever at home. Underwent PCR testing.
June 21: Tested positive for COVID-19. Has been self-isolating at home since then.

We are taking measures to prevent the spread of infectious diseases, including wearing masks when serving customers, gargling, washing hands, sanitizing with alcohol-based disinfectants, and requiring employees to take their temperature before coming to work and to stay home if they have a fever of 37.5 degrees Celsius or higher.
We will continue to prioritize the health and safety of our customers, business partners, and employees, and strive to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
