Born in Aichi Prefecture in 1991. After graduating from a high school specializing in fashion in Nagoya City, she attended Esmod Tokyo. She then worked as a designer for an apparel company while attending Cocono Gakko. After leaving her job, she re-enrolled in Esmod AMI and launched kotohayokozawa in 2015. In 2020, she received the Mainichi Fashion Grand Prix "New Designer Award / Shiseido Encouragement Award."
