PREEK, a jewelry brand by Kasumi Ashizawa, will open a pop-up store at Forget-me-nots Daikanyama from Saturday, December 11 to Sunday, December 26, 2021.
PREEK is a jewelry brand that proposes a new standard for jewelry with the concept of "new possibilities for jewelry made in Japan." It offers unique Japanese techniques and quality, as well as contemporary designs.
Based on natural materials such as raw natural stones and baroque pearls, the brand features edgy and modern designs. Each item is finished with high-quality techniques unique to craftsmen who handle fine jewelry, utilizing gemstone carving techniques and special processing rooted in Japan, creating long-loved pieces.

The "UKISHIMA" series, inspired by the Japanese confection "Ukishima," evokes images of small islands floating and sinking on the surface of lakes and marshes. One side of each natural stone, meticulously carved by hand using gemstone carving techniques, is coated with pure silver and then gold-plated using a special electroforming process. Using quartz and green agate, these attractive items highlight the unique colors and patterns of natural stones, creating a light and dignified appearance. The fava bean-shaped earrings, a derivative of UKISHIMA, are also collection pieces where one side of hand-carved natural stones is coated with pure silver and gold plating. In addition to quartz, smoky quartz, and onyx, new stones such as green agate, brown agate, and sandstone have been added this season. Their light and gently rounded curves fit along the ear comfortably when worn.

BAROQUE PEARL
The "BAROQUE PEARL" series uses naturally formed, irregularly shaped freshwater baroque pearls. While perfectly round pearls are generally more valuable, this series intentionally utilizes their organic and warm curves, applying a pure silver and gold plating coating to only half of the pearl. The different curves of the pearls and metal create a modern and elegant atmosphere, enhancing the individuality of the wearer.
