MOAB has been updated to "MOAB 3." Not only the design, but also the elasticity of the EVA foam used in the midsole, the footbed, and the shape of the Vibram TC5+ outsole have been updated to improve comfort and performance. [Features and Materials]
■ GORE-TEX® membrane
A breathable and waterproof all-weather membrane that keeps the inside of the foot comfortable even in rainy conditions.
■ Synthetic leather & mesh upper
A combination upper of synthetic leather and mesh is used to ensure breathability and reduce weight.
■ Recycled laces / webbing / mesh lining
100% recycled materials are used in various parts.
■ Bellows tongue
The tongue prevents dirt, pebbles, and water from entering.
■ Toe cap
The rubber on the toe protects the foot from external impacts.
■ EVA foam midsole
Lightweight EVA foam with improved elasticity, cushioning, and stability.
■ Kinetic Fit™ Advanced Insole
A removable insole that supports the foot with low-rebound cushioning.
■ Merrell Air Cushion
A cushioning system that absorbs shock in the heel when walking, and can be expected to reduce fatigue.
■ Nylon Arch Shank
A nylon shank that supports the arch (instep) and can be expected to reduce fatigue even during long walks.
■ Vibram TC5+ outsole
Uses "Vibram," a leading Italian sole manufacturer. Merrell's exclusive sole for outdoor activities, offering excellent grip and durability.
