The OOFOS story begins with the OOriginal sandal. The combination of its sleek design and innovative OOfoam™ recovery technology laid the groundwork for all future styles and models.


A recovery footwear brand developed over two and a half years by a veteran team of athletes, trainers, and product developers from major shoe manufacturers in Massachusetts, USA, in 2011.
Unlike the midsoles of typical EVA materials, which are designed to generate forward momentum, the special OOfoam material used in OOFOS products can reduce impact by 37%, thereby lessening the shock to the soles of the feet upon landing.
