The Air Jordan 5 Fire Red "Black Tongue" celebrates the 35th anniversary of MJ's fifth signature shoe, bringing back a popular colorway to the Jordan brand. This original edition pays homage to the 1990 design by Tinker Hatfield, featuring a jagged midsole, striking collar, vented side and tongue panels, and MJ's jersey number 23 embroidered on the outer heel. Premium white leather is accented with Fire Red and black, while the black tongue provides a vivid contrast to the iconic silver tongue. Visible Nike Air cushioning peeks out from the black and Fire Red midsole, and a Jumpman graphic is visible through the translucent outsole. With its original details and proud heritage, this iconic shoe is resurrected as if it had been frozen in time since its debut.
