On Saturday, March 11, 2023, Forget-me-nots will open its second store in Japan, "Forget-me-nots Fukuoka," in Fukuoka.
The new store is located in Daimyo, adjacent to Tenjin, the center of Fukuoka where department stores and fashion buildings are concentrated. We believe that sneakers and street style are an important part of the wardrobe of modern women who work creatively and actively, and we propose a new sneaker style and street style that combines beauty and strength for independent women.
Targeting independent, creative individuals in their teens to thirties who constantly follow trends and check global snaps, we offer a wide range of items including Forget-me-nots' original line, apparel, shoes, bags, accessories, and cosmetics from brands such as courrèges, rokh, Aries, beautifulpeople, NIKE, and New Balance.
The store's interior is inspired by the vibrant color sensibility of Louis Barragan's architecture and the graceful curves and vintage modern aesthetic of Charlotte Perriand's furniture, creating a space where "femininity" and "strength" coexist. While inheriting the elegant atmosphere of the Daikanyama main store, it has been renovated to better blend in with the Daimyo area.
Additionally, the store will host pop-up shops and events for various brands and artists irregularly each month. To commemorate the Grand Opening of the Fukuoka store on Saturday, March 11th, a pop-up store for KNOWHOW, a Japanese unisex jewelry brand, will be held.
KNOWHOW is a unisex jewelry brand launched in Japan in 2018. Composed of a team well-versed in fashion, KNOWHOW incorporates its creative vision with the concept of "creating your own style, knowing the 'know-how' of fashion, and always looking ahead without staying in the present," offering the know-how of fashion.
The ear cuffs use a unique clip made with a special manufacturing method, offering a comfortable fit without the anxiety of them falling off. With "sizeless, no-hole, hanging" as its keywords, the brand offers stress-free new jewelry for both pierced and unpierced earring wearers.
To commemorate the Grand Opening of the Fukuoka store, Forget-me-nots has created an exclusive ring. This unique piece features a unisex design and can also be worn as a necklace when combined with the inline chain.
