The Nike Air Max 1 SFR will be launched as a Forget-me-nots Exclusive, following the Air Max 1's 35th anniversary last year.

With AIR MAX DAY on March 26th approaching, this new Air Max 1, featuring a design that blends past masterpieces, incorporates a safari print inspired by an ostrich leather sofa that designer Tinker Hatfield saw at a New York furniture store, which he then turned into a unique speckled pattern.
It also combines a clean white color scheme of leather and mesh with baby blue accents on the outsole.
This fashionable new Air Max 1 SFR will be released on Saturday, March 4th at Forget-me-nots.

Since its birth in 1986, the Air Max 1 has gone through various eras. In this different age, how do today's youth perceive the Air Max 1? Forget-me-nots focused on creative young women involved in the brand.

As a shop staff member at Forget-me-nots Daikanyama, I'm responsible for customer service and sales, as well as communicating with customers via social media. I also style outfits for in-store displays, and we design the displays as a team.

I used Air Max sneakers as warm-up shoes during my club activities in school. My first impression when wearing the Air Max 1 SFR was that it felt lighter than it looked. The subtle safari print design, at first glance, appears to be a white-based color scheme, making it a monochromatic sneaker that I feel is easy to coordinate for the upcoming spring and summer seasons. It's also recommended for bright clothes.

Forget-me-nots has a wide range of brands and a rich selection of items. In particular, it has the concept "Street is beautiful, Sneaker is elegant," which was a key reason for me joining the company, and it carries many sneaker models. I think many women might not have many opportunities to wear sneakers, but because we stock a variety of brands, many types of women come to us. It makes me happy to be able to propose coordinated outfits with sneakers to them and introduce them to the cute aspects of sneakers.

Future prospects｜Future prospects

I've loved clothes since I was little and attended a fashion school. Leveraging that strength, with so many brands available, I want to further refine my proposals to create cohesive styling that customers are happy with, eliminating any hesitation. Also, fmn produces lookbooks for each season, so I'd like to be involved in the styling for those in the future and work with the whole team to build the brand image.

As a studio staff member, I handle studio work such as camera assistance and material trimming, and also direct model shoots. At fmn, we create content as a team, from supporting content production to me also serving as a model.

My impression after wearing them was that they had a very comfortable fit. I sometimes wear menswear-inspired outfits, but the Air Max 1 SFR features a color scheme that's easy to pair with feminine skirts, like in this styling, or even slightly bold, colorful outfits. I feel that the Air Max 1 SFR has a cute image, so I definitely want to recommend it to my friends.

I primarily handle the creation and operation of web content. I'm also involved in a wide range of tasks, from implementing tools for our e-commerce site, to sending out newsletters, distributing content via social media like LINE, and managing advertisements.

My impression of the design was that the white-based colors and the incorporated safari print gave it a more sophisticated feel than other Air Max models. It's also comfortable to wear, and the AIR sole provides a flattering boost in height, which is a welcome feature for women. This makes it easy to pair with long pants or skirts, and it suits a variety of outfits. Air Max often had a boyish or overly casual image, but this pair seems like it will overturn that perception.

Also, when I work on web production for our versatile content featuring inspiring items or monthly brand introductions, the staff and PR members all show respect for the brand, and it's a brand where everyone genuinely enjoys fashion.

Future prospects｜Future prospects

In my own work, I want to gain more experience in digital, focusing on creating websites and content pages, and approaching them by leveraging UI. Currently, fmn only has two stores, so I want to reach more customers through the web, especially those who cannot easily visit our physical stores.
