These low-cut waterproof trekking shoes are recommended for three-season (spring, summer, autumn) low-mountain hiking and day trips.
The upper material uses "CORDURA" for enhanced durability. They feature THE NORTH FACE's proprietary "HydroSeal" waterproof-breathable membrane, which prevents rain from entering while allowing moisture to escape.
The "CRADLE heel technology," which places support parts to encircle the heel, absorbs impact during landing and reduces lateral sway. Combined with a rigid midfoot shank plate, it supports comfortable walking. The last has a roomy toe box to protect the toes while providing a grip sensation as if the toes are grasping the ground. The outsole uses "Vibram XS-Trek rubber," which provides high grip performance in conditions ranging from dry to wet.
With high fit and stability, these are easy-to-wear shoes suitable as a first pair of hiking boots.
